National League play-offs: BT Sport schedule announced

BT Sport is delighted to announce the full program of the National league Play-Offs, as fifth tier teams compete for a place in the English Football League.

The National League season has come to an end due to the coronavirus pandemic, with league positions being decided on a points-per-game basis.

But now, after months without any action, the question of who will join Barrow in League 2 next season must finally be answered.

Six teams are in contention – 2nd through 7th in the table – with 4th-7th set to play a playoff game to determine who will face 2nd and 3rd in the semi-finals.

First, the two Play-Off Eliminator games which will take place on Friday and Saturday of the weekend of July 17-18.

Boreham Wood, fifth, will host Halifax Town on Friday night, followed by Yeovil Town, fourth, entertaining Barnet – who was in a rush to finish the campaign in seventh place – will face off on Saturday afternoon.

The winners of those ties are in action the following weekend where they visit the two teams that finished second and third – Harrogate Town and Notts County respectively.

Those semi-finals will take place on Saturday, July 25 with Harrogate hosting the team that emerges from the draw between Boreham Wood and Halifax, before Notts County entertains the winners of Yeovil Town and Barnet.

And then, up to the final.

The centerpiece of Wembley is set for Sunday August 2 as the homeland of football hosts the National League play-off final for the ninth consecutive year.

In May 2019, the 92-owned Salford City class won the game against AFC Fylde 3-0 to seal a League Two spot for the first time in its history.

BT Sport will broadcast all matches exclusively live on television and on our digital platforms; the BT Sport application on mobiles and tablets, as well as on top large screen devices and here on bt.com/sport.
